Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of machined, fabricated, and assembled aerospace components using precision measuring instruments (e.g., CMM, micrometers, calipers, gauges).
Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements.
Prepare and maintain inspection reports, First Article Inspection (FAI) per AS9102, and quality records.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for nonconformities.
Ensure compliance with AS9100 / ISO 9001 standards and internal quality procedures.
Maintain traceability and calibration records for inspection tools and gauges.
Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and technical input.
Work with production teams to monitor and improve process capability and product conformity.
Participate in continuous improvement programs (Kaizen, 5S, Lean, Six Sigma).
Support development and validation of control plans, PFMEA, and work instructions.
Conduct supplier quality evaluations and incoming inspection for vendor-supplied parts.
Coordinate with customers for quality-related issues, discrepancy reports, and approval of rework.
